Privacy policy

Your trust is the foundation of MagnoPaws. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for, and what control you have over it. The short version: your data is yours, we don't sell it, and we only use it to make the service work.
1. Data we collect
Account data: your email and password (stored with a secure hash), or your Google identity if you choose that sign-in method.
Your pets' data: name, species, breed, photos, health events, weights, medications, inventory, and notes you decide to record.
Minimal technical data: error and usage logs needed to operate and improve the service.
2. What we use it for
To provide the service: showing your data, sending you reminders and transactional emails (confirmations, due-date notices), and processing your subscription if you purchase Premium.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising. We do not use your data or your pets' data for commercial profiling.
3. Where it is stored
Your data is stored in Supabase, a cloud database platform with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is protected by row-level security policies: each account can only read and modify its own data.
4. Providers that help us
We use a small number of services to operate: Supabase (database and authentication), Flow (payment processing — we never see your card), Resend (email delivery), and Sentry (error monitoring).
Each provider receives only the minimum data needed for its function.
5. Shared profiles
If you generate a shareable profile link, anyone with that link can view the health information included in it, without needing an account. Links are private (they don't appear in search engines) and you can revoke them at any time from the application.
6. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: those needed to keep your session active and remember your language and theme preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. If you delete your account, your personal data and your pets' data are permanently removed from our systems.
Security backups are deleted according to their normal rotation cycle.
8. Your rights
In accordance with Chilean Law 19.628 on the protection of private life and its successor regulations, you can access, rectify, and delete your personal data. Most of these actions are available directly in the application; for any other request, write to us.
MagnoPaws is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
If we substantially change this policy, we will notify you at your registered email or within the application before the changes take effect.
